Giclee Printers

How We Print

At PosterBurner, we print many types of products. Most require extreme color precision and top of the line equipment. We have made the decision as a company to always prioritize print quality over any other printer feature, such as speed, ease of use, or maintainability. Quality is always king when making equipment decisions.

The majority of our products are printed on high quality giclee inkjet printers - such as the Epson 7890, 9890, 11880, 9900, 7900, Surecolor P series printers.

Large Format Our Printers

Posters and Canvas

When printing large posters and canvas we use large format models with up to 9 colors. These printers are high maintenance and slow when compared to many of the printers used by other shops. It takes many more printers working many more hours…we run up to as many as 20 at a time. The additional maintenance required means we have many more than that on the bench or ready to be put in service at any point in time. We feel this is the best way to provide the utmost of quality and care as these printers are unrivaled in print quality. We honestly feel that we provide a better printer experience than any other shop. We look forward to proving that every day.

There is some exciting new technology coming in the poster and canvas printing space that we look forward to reviewing after they reach market, specifically the Oce Colorado and the HP Pagewide.

Yard Signs

Banner Prints, Decals, Yard Signs

These products are printed with the large format Eco-Solvent Epson S Series. These printers use ultra-chrome GS3 inks which provide exceptionally accurate color and strong, long lasting durability for display both indoors and outdoors.

Canvas Prints

Metal Prints, Ornaments, Shirts

For this type of printing we use Roland Dye Sublimation Printers.

Dye Sublimation (or more accurately dye-diffusion) uses heat to transfer dye onto various materials. The quality of the Roland dye sublimation prints is outstanding.

Holiday Shipping

Holiday Shipping Times & Cut Off We are currently able to ship all print types in time for the holidays, but the sooner you order, the better. Shipping companies are advising to ship packages for holiday delivery by December 16th. Many packages shipped after the 16th will still arrive in time for the holidays, but they are not guaranteeing it. While we do not have full control over the shipping and transit times, here is our best guess at the realistic cutoff dates. West Coast: Order by December 16th Central: Order By December 20th East Coast: Order by December 21st
