What Is PosterBurner Super-Resolution?

PosterBurner Super-Resolution is a free service to improve your image quality while also enlarging your image. It uses artificial intelligence to smartly paint pixels as the image size increases. You can learn more about super resolution here.

While this free service is not the exact same approach we use for poster printing, making canvas prints, and making custom banners and decals, it is similar and works well on images 2000 x 2000 pixels and below.

How Do I Know If This Enlarged Picture Will Print Well?

Typically images that start out at 500 x 500 pixels (or larger) before super resolution is run on them will end up printing very well. You can consult our guide on image size and printing size, or you can send us your image by email and we'll let you know how well it will print.

How Long Does It Take to Run Super-Resolution?

The time to run varies by how large your image is and how many requests are in the queue in front of you. If your image doesn't return within 2-3 minutes, we recommend submitting your email and leaving the browser open. You will get an email once the super resolution has completed with a link to your image as long as you don't close the browser window.
